Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje flagged off the inaugural train to open the first phase of the Jaipur metro on June 3.
Jaipur Metro, touted as one of the quickest constructed metro frameworks in the nation, was tossed open to Jaipurites on Wednesday. The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje hailed off the inaugural train on 9.6 km long course from Mansarovar to Chandpole. Ms. Raje alongside pastors, officers and supporters went in the train from Mansarovar to Chandpole and landed at Civil Lines station while returning. After the opening function, the Jaipur Metro initiated its general business operations from all its 9 stations — Mansarovar, Vivek Vihar, Shyam Nagar, Ram Nagar, Civil Lines, Railway Station, Sindhi Camp New Atish Market, Ram Nagar, and Chandpole.
